Moonpig partners with Campaign Against Living Miserably to create charity card range

Moonpig has launched a new range of cards in partnership with suicide prevention  charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) to help make reaching out to a loved one much easier - because sometimes, it can be hard to find the words to say.

Inspired by the notion that there’s never a perfect time to reach out to a loved one, the new range of charity cards feature a combination of funny, honest, serious and silly messages to give the nation an excuse to reach out, reconnect and say the things that really matter, regardless of the occasion.

Every week, 125 lives are lost to suicide  in the UK. CALM was founded to tackle this issue and since its launch in 2006, has helped millions of people to change their lives for the better. The partnership with Moonpig aims to connect friends and family, because one word, one gesture, one moment of closeness can make all the difference.

Designed in collaboration with CALM, the new range available exclusively on Moonpig wants to help the nation find the words that could change someone’s day for the better. To help kick start those sometimes awkward conversations there’s a mixture of cards designed to make you smile, and reconnect at any moment in life. From photo upload cards with nostalgic messages such as ‘Need to see this weird face soon’ to bold colourful designs with funny phrases including: ‘I’d give up my last nugget for you’.

The primary act of sending a card is to connect one person to another, and as specialists in celebrating the moments that matter it’s important to also remember all the other moments in between that connect us, which is why this partnership with CALM is so important to us.

At CALM we know a few small words can make the biggest difference, but sometimes it can be hard to let friends or family know you appreciate them. Research shows that receiving a compliment can be enough to help someone that might be struggling and also increase general happiness, that’s why we’re delighted to be partnering with Moonpig to launch this new range of cards to help people find the words to bring a smile to someone’s face .
