We have designed Moonpig’s bespoke technology platform to ensure that we capture and use the data that is unique to gifting at every point in the customer journey. Nowhere is this more evident than through the 84 million reminders that our customers have already set. We send you a reminder a few days before your special event, showing you what you purchased last year and recommending a perfect card and gift to send this year. Using intuitive technology, we can even help you choose the right words to go inside the card. It's all about making gifting as effortless as possible.
Greetz was successfully transitioned onto the Moonpig technology platform in September 2022. As well as unlocking opportunities for strengthening retention and lifetime value of our Dutch customers, the completion of this project means that the majority of the Group’s technology resource is now focused on accelerating the development of new, customer-facing and revenue-generating functionality that both of our card-first brands can leverage.
In July 2022, we acquired Red Letter Days and Buyagift, two of the UK’s leading gift experiences platforms. The acquisition accelerates our strategy to become the ultimate gifting companion to our customers.
