We have designed Moonpig’s bespoke technology platform to ensure that we capture and use the data that is unique to gifting at every point in the customer journey. Nowhere is this more evident than through the more than 70 million reminders that our customers have already set. We send you a reminder a few days before your special event, showing you what you purchased last year and recommending a perfect card and gift to send this year. Using AI, we can even help you choose the right words to go inside the card. It's all about making gifting as effortless as possible.
Work to transition Greetz onto the Moonpig technology platform remains on schedule for completion by the end of calendar year 2022. As well as unlocking opportunities for strengthening retention and lifetime value of our Dutch customers, once the migration project is complete, the majority of the Group’s technology resource will focus on accelerating the development of new, customer-facing and revenue-generating functionality that will be leveraged by both of our card-first brands.
In July 2022, we acquired Red Letter Days and Buyagift, at which point the Group became the UK’s leading gift experiences platform. The acquisition accelerates our strategy to become the ultimate gifting companion to our customers.
